Protecting life and property through service
The mission of the Ridgeley Volunteer Fire Company, Station 25, is to protect life and property through professional, compassionate, and dependable fire suppression, emergency medical services, rescue operations, and other emergency and non-emergency assistance.
Based in Ridgeley, West Virginia, our 100% volunteer organization proudly serves the residents of the Town of Ridgeley and the Town of Carpendale. We are also committed to supporting our neighboring communities and fellow fire departments by providing mutual-aid assistance to fire and emergency service organizations throughout Mineral County, West Virginia, and Allegany County, Maryland.
Through dedication, training, teamwork, and service, we strive to safeguard our communities and provide assistance whenever and wherever we are needed.

Neighbors volunteering to protect neighbors
The Ridgeley Volunteer Fire Company, also known as the Ridgeley Fire Department and Company 25, is a 100% volunteer Fire and EMS organization based in Ridgeley, West Virginia. Our members provide fire suppression, emergency medical services, rescue operations, public assistance, and other emergency and non-emergency services to Ridgeley, Carpendale, and the surrounding region.
Station 25 is supported by community members who volunteer their time to answer emergency calls, complete continuing training, maintain apparatus and equipment, participate in fundraising, and perform the many responsibilities required to keep the company ready to respond.
